27 days, gloves are off

I don't know about many of you out there in the world but I am intensely following our election this year. I have been a hardcore follower of politics since high school when I turned 18 during an election year. I have been glued to the tv and websites, on both sides ex: CNN and Fox news, to get as much information as I have been able to. I believe in change, I believe in something more for my generation in the United States then what we have been given over the past few years.

Obama is my homeboy. period. He has showed the poise and demonstrated his ability to be our next president and I believe he will me.

Good news, I get blonde tomorrow!!! get excited.....

You ready to go get in trouble?

I have been a very lucky girl throughout my life.........not to say that bad things have not happened but I've been lucky to be pulled through them. I feel like it's my time...i'm young, i'm fantastic and im ready!! I'm making postive changes in my life and am really adjusting to understanding who I am really well.

I have never been one for relationship but I am one for crush's......actually long term crush's....how long is too long. I beginning to think that I am letting this one guy get away with me liking him for too long and it may actually be time to open myself up to even liking someone else. Its unfortunate that I rely highly on sparks. The za za zoo according to Sex and the City. I happen to love the za za zoo a lot and have it with this one guy from the instant i met him. Which is probably the reason I haven't been able to let it go.

Sorry

I honestly do not understand why a simple word like "sorry" seems to be the most difficult to express. Ive had a lot of experience with this in my life so far and I seem to be surrounded by people who are unable to say it. My sister and my mother for one......also a bitchy ex-roommate that will remain nameless couldnt say it and we are not friends to this day. Honestly when I'm wrong....its not hard for me to say this.

I was watching the View yesterday and was again inspired to why no one should vote for McCain in the new election. In my whole life I have never felt the pride in a leader of our country. It just hasn't happened for my generation, at least not someone we will remember. I was a fan of Clinton, even after the Monica drama, but that ruined his legacy all together. He won't be remembered for policy or improvements, just for screwing an intern while in office. I can clearly see in this election that I may actually get my wish of having a President to brag about. Finally a clear leader that will inspire and raise this country back to where it was prior to any Bush in office (not a fan of either one).
Obama is someone that I can see as going into the books as being someone my generation can be proud of. When my kids come home from their history class and tell me they learned about President Obama, I'm going to be proud that I had a leader in my youth that had a positive influence on my country. I had a leader that inspired a generation to go out and make a Change! McCain would never inspire like Obama does, and I believe that is what my generation needs. They need proof that the position of President is not just something that runs our country, but that this position is made to keep our country safe, healthy, and content in our lives in the USA. My generation has been so turned off by the policy and leadership, that we need someone to step up and teach us about how great the President can be. Our parents had Kennedy, lets have Obama!

Let the games begin........

OK ladies and fellas, this is my first time even attempting such a thing, but lets just say I may need it this year. Things in my household are getting a little intense lately and I was thinking how to get this out of me instead of just the regular ways.
The only introduction you need of me is that I am soon to be twenty-two years old, a girl, a fiercely independent girl, who is a senior at a college in Maryland, majoring in marketing.
I have a very small family which I love to a point where now its just getting hard to love them. I have friends I've been lucky to keep for most of my life. I am one of the only people in this town that believes I am too young to bother with the goofy boys, I refuse to settle, or settle down. I pride myself in being very well informed on most topics in this world, I am a very liberal girl, so Bush lovers, leave now! I'll be as honest as I can be without being entirely revealing!
